To Hear, We Must Be Quiet

Study of Hebrews 3

Hebrews 3:7 -8 – Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

To hear, we must be quiet.

  • What does God’s voice sound like to me?

  • Do I pause in the presence of God to LISTEN?

Hebrews 3:12-13

Take care my brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

  • What does a “living God” look like?

  • How often should we encourage one another? Why?

There are a lot of interesting commentaries regarding verse 14. I encourage you to study it for yourself. Utilize the study notes in your Bible, the Blue Letter Bible app and multiple versions of the Bible.

I hope you enjoy studying scripture for yourself! ❤️
